First Couch Purchase

"The couch is great, the building process wasn’t bad. I think they should really be more apartment friendly as they did not deliver to my apartment, but the front office. The faux leather is subpar. Overall the look is everything I wanted. The price is however, steep for the material that it is. There are parts of the couch where the studs are inconsistent."

Impressive Company

"We’re impressed with the high level of client care GDF Studio provides. They were immediately responsive with questions and a fedx delay. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase anything from them. Try something you’re unsure of bc they really are caring, solution oriented, and dedicated to their clients. 💯 The sofa is exactly as described. It was easy to unpack and easy to assemble. It’s surprisingly lighter than expected. It’s very well built. The faux leather is soft and breathable without the sheen. Four large dogs have attempted to jump up and it didn’t scratch. (What?!?!) It’s stylish and easily accommodates 5 people You arrange and rearrange it with ease. The back is lower (as described) than vintage chesterfields. The seats are deep enough that a higher back would be uncomfortable. It’s easier to stretch-out and converse with the lower back framing. We also like that it’s easier to reach our console table. It provides more design decor options and a crisper line-of-sight vs a higher lumbering back height. The stitching is exact and tight. The zippers on the cushions work well. Nailheads flush. The tufting is very well done and looks beautiful. There’s a nice cushion on the arms. Very comfortable. It’s extremely well made. Like most new furniture with foam seating, it’s stiff. We prefer cloud down cushions (albeit not appropriate with a chesterfield design) so the extra firmness has been an adjustment. We’re hoping that the cushions soften up with use. They’re exactly as described so we knew going in that it would be a firmer seating. The spring is perfect. It’s the perfect amount of torque give when you sit down. We’ve purchased multiple leather sofas. Really impressed with how well made this set is. It’s our first faux leather. The biggest difference is that it doesn’t scratch, like our last Italian leather did- in under a week. It cleans easier too. Leather pieces can be a lot of work; cleaning and conditioning. We simply use a micro cloth and wipe down with a small spritz of water. Amazing. We are going to add buns to the leg bottoms for a 2” increase in seating height because we’re tall and the dogs won’t be able to throw dagger paws on top as easily. Lastly, we shopped this exact set on multiple sites. Every single online vendor had marked up GDF’s price by a minimum of $500-2200. I am so glad we found the actual studio. I can’t imagine receiving the attention to satisfaction we’ve received with GDF from a third party over-charging vendor. The integrity of GDF, the level of craftsmanship, and the outstanding level of quality care to clients is unmatched. We’re very, very happy with our investment. I know people can fret with online purchases. There’s zero reason to hesitate with this company. If it allows me to upload a photo later, I will. (Am not at home.) Patrick and Molly"
