Caution - paint peeling after two seasons
"I loved this table for the first two seasons I had it - seemingly great quality and value. When I removed it from storage this spring (fully covered), I was disappointed to discover that paint had begun to peel from the surface of the table. I saw a lot of horror stories (and pictures) about other fire tables suffering from this and specifically chose this table because reviews didn't mention it. I was so happy with this purchase, and then so disappointed. I contacted GDF customer service to see what help they might be able to offer. I wasn't expecting a replacement necessarily (although I did wonder if my unit was defective given the lack of complaints about this from other reviews), but I was hoping for at least some guidance (for example how I could approach touching up the paint, the color code for color matching, etc. ). I got a prompt reply but no help - they said because I was out of warranty they couldn't do anything. I understand that replacing the table may not be possible, but was hoping for a little more help problem solving given it seems unacceptable that this would last for only two seasons when well cared for."

Table looks beautiful and is
"Table looks beautiful and is easy to set up. It came perfectly packaged without any problems. We replaced the rocks with glass. I love how easy it is to turn on. I just wish they made a cover for the flame area so you could use for a table when not using the firepit. However, I am extremely pleased with it. It puts off a good amount of heat and I’m looking forward to using it when everyone is over for the holidays!!"

Nice fireplace but needs larger burner!
"Product arrived safety and on time. Very nice material used. Burner is not that strong, only 50kbtu like a gas grill sort of output. Installed bigger burner and larger output LP line and 3/4” gas valve and added a key valve instead of knob. Also added glass wind guard to boot."

Good Looking and Great Quality
"I am very happy with this purchase. I did have to return the first one because the light gray had too much of a green undertone for my taste. I reordered the dark gray and I absolutely love it! We have used it a few times now and are very happy with the look and the quality. It kept us comfortable and provided a beautiful ambiance."

Good solid piece. Came packaged
"Good solid piece. Came packaged extremely well and showed up very quickly. Set up took no time at all and it looks great. Works well also. Not sure how well it would heat on an actual winter night but for my 50° Phoenix night it put off more than enough heat on medium. Size is perfect as the low table allows your legs to catch some heat and a perfect height to use as a table when the flames aren't on. Companies customer service is beyond top notch and well co sidering I had another smaller cheaper model delivered damaged and they got me a refund and this upgraded to my house within 5 days ( I paid for the upgrade of course)."

Not composite concrete
"Not composite concrete— it is metal. The description of the product states it is composite concrete which misleading. I was looking for a concrete composite fire pit to avoid metal rusting issues. It is too large to return. The fire pit is very nice with a nice linear flame pattern and looks modern. I hope that I won’t encounter any rusting issues."
